In order to ensure that all of our students are comfortable and safe while at school and looking ahead to the predicted hot weather expected from Monday 22nd June, students may choose to:

  • Wear their Alder PE kit to school (including appropriate footwear - not sliders or crocs) or
  • Wear their normal school uniform including shoes and ties but without their blazer

Please ensure your child still brings their school bag, all necessary equipment for lessons and their locker key. Mobile phones must be stored in a school bag, out of sight not carried around in a pencil case. We also recommend providing your child with a refillable water bottle to ensure that they remain hydrated throughout the day and wear sun cream.

We will return to normal, full school uniform on Monday 29th June when temperatures are expected to lower (unless otherwise communicated)
